Hours are 9-5 Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays
Responsibilities:
Full charge bookkeeping:
entering/paying bills; generating invoices, purchase orders; time tracking Data/specification entry Bank reconciliations Credit card reconciliations Project and vendor account reconciliations Expense monitoring Run payrolls; record payrolls; Sort out all payroll discrepancies.
Review monthly project reports for/with clients.
Produce financial reports and analysis; Review with client/accountants Journal Entries when needed Liaison with client's, principal, staff, and accountant on various projects/needs Make sure all monthly, quarterly, and annual filings are filed/paid timely Prepare and file monthly and quarterly sales tax reports for multiple states.
Perform various special projects as needed by clients Communicating with clients; accountable for client's accounts/deliverables.
Assist owner as needed.
Qualifications Minimum three years experience.
Excellent communication skills:
verbal and writing Pro at bank and credit card reconciliations.
There is a lot of bank and credit card reconciliation so you must pay attention to detail and be able to work through reconciliation issues.
Work with a team of people; work by yourself Manage multiple projects/clients/accounts Meet deadlines Good follow up skills; stick with until answered/resolved Ability to organize work with large amounts of information efficiently.
Knows and understands how to file monthly sales tax reports online Process payroll through various payroll software providers Reads, understands and be able to explain financial statements.
