We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team.
As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service.
Your main responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, managing patient records, answering phone calls and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and friendly manner - Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries - Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing - Maintain patient records and update information as necessary - Collect payments and provide accurate financial information to patients - Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow - Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and dental staff - Proficiency in using dental office software such as WinOMS is highly desirable - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus - Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines efficiently - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Job Type:
