In this role you are responsible for providing hands on direct support training, guidance, and direction to program participants.
Identify strengths, skills and interests of participants Develop employment opportunities to match the right person with the right job Assist with creating resumes and preparing for job interviews Accompany applicants to the interview Assist with learning the job duties and the work environment Provide ongoing assistance through periodic work site visits Assist with social interactions on the job Applicants must be reliable, motivated, and conscientious.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel is required.
This position requires traveling through Westchester, Dutchess and Putnam counties.
Experience in a vocation or life skills setting helpful.
Paid vocational training through OPWDD will be provided.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
