com As a Glazing Technician, you will work as part of a team to use industry standard glazing and coloring methods to create a esthetically pleasing restorations for patients.
Our products are small and need great attention to details to continue our standard of products.
We will provide full training with great opportunities for advancement! Duties:
Check inventory of each case with original documents and verify that computer printouts match.
Check cases for proper contacts, margins, defects and spurs prior stain and glazing process.
Mix stains to achieve accurate shade match, according to color charts.
Perform sandblasting on the porcelain for resurfacing when shades do not match.
Follow procedures for Staining, Glazing, and Sandblasting throughout the production process.
Operate ceramic ovens and ultrasonic cleaner as part of the Stain & Glaze process.
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality standards are met.
Demonstrate a high standard of work ethic and professionalism at all times.
Share responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of working areas with the rest of the team.
Represent the company and department in a positive and supportive manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or Higher Accredited dental laboratory program (preferred) 1 or more years' experience in Dental field (preferred) Skills/Requirements:
Artistic skills such as color mix and matching.
Knowledge of or able to learn / understand dental anatomy and terminology.
Critical thinker.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and quality.
Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
Detail-oriented and multitasking skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Remain in a seated position for more than 4 hours.
Able to lift at least 5 pounds.
